Does the Bible give any hints on the hour of Christ’s return?
The sun was risen upon the earth when Lot entered into Zoar. (Deliverance of Lot) Gen 19:23
And it came to pass on the seventh day, that they rose early about the dawning of the day, and compassed the city after the same manner seven times: only on that day they compassed the city seven times. (Destruction of Jericho/Deliverance of Rahab) Josh 6:15
Tarry this night, and it shall be in the morning, that if he will perform unto thee the part of a kinsman, well; let him do the kinsman’s part: but if he will not do the part of a kinsman to thee, then will I do the part of a kinsman to thee, as the Lord liveth: lie down until the morning. Ruth 3:13
And they of Bethshemesh (“House of the Sun/Rising Sun”) were reaping their wheat harvest in the valley: and they lifted up their eyes, and saw the ark, and rejoiced to see it. I Sam 6:13
And they arose early: and it came to pass about the spring of the day, that Samuel called Saul to the top of the house… I Sam 9:26
The mighty God, even the Lord, hath spoken, and called the earth from the rising of the sun unto the going down thereof. Psa 50:1
But I will sing of thy power; yea, I will sing aloud of thy mercy in the morning: for thou hast been my defense and refuge in the day of my trouble. Psa 59:16
Weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning. Psa 30:5
I wait for the Lord, my soul doth wait, and in his word do I hope. My soul waiteth for the Lord more than they that watch for the morning: I say, more than they that watch for the morning. Psa 130:5-6
Cause me to hear thy lovingkindness in the morning; for in thee do I trust… Psa 143:8
They (the Lord’s mercies and compassions) are new every (“every” is not in the Hebrew) morning: great is thy faithfulness. Lam 3:23
Then shall we know, if we follow on to know the Lord: his going forth is prepared as the morning; and he shall come unto us as the rain, as the latter and former rain unto the earth. Hosea 6:3
But unto you that fear my name shall the Sun of righteousness arise with healing in his wings; and ye shall go forth, and grow up as calves of the stall. Mal 4:2
We have also a more sure word of prophecy; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts: 2 Pet 1:19
And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. Acts 2:1
Of course, it cannot be the same hour the world over (Psa 50:1). It stands to reason that the hour given would be in the same time zone where the prophesies were written.
